About This Float

This 4-mile river excursion begins on the Euharlee Creek near the Covered Bridge. This trip can be taken with a departure time starting at 9 AM until 2 PM.

Just downstream, the creek will merge with the Etowah River allowing you to experience a taste of both waterways.  Then you will travel beyond the Euharlee Bridge boat launch, and approximately 2 miles downstream is the small island which offers an ideal stopping opportunity where you can stretch your legs and play in the water. 

This river adventure concludes at the Old Hardin Bridge launch area, located on your river left, just beyond and after paddling under the NEW Hardin Bridge. Recently this area has been vastly improved with the addition of a much needed boat ramp, picnic tables, and it even has two porta-johns available.

This is a great trip if you're short on time, and it's also a perfect quick early morning or late-afternoon float!
